End User License Agreement

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing, or using TextShow, you agree to this End User License Agreement (the "EULA"). If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Service

TextShow helps users upload screenshots of conversations, reconstruct their contents, share discussions with selected participants, comment on original items, and send targeted bring-to-attention notifications. The service may be used for ordinary personal discussions and for legitimate sales and commercial discussions.

TextShow is a tool for organizing and discussing material supplied by users. It does not verify a conversation or decide whether a statement is true.

3. Screenshots, authenticity, and AI limitations

Screenshots can be forged, edited, selectively captured, or attributed to the wrong person or platform. TextShow does not authenticate screenshots, the truth of their contents, their authorship, or their legal or evidentiary value.

Automated and AI-assisted parsing and reconciliation can make independent errors, including errors in text, speakers, dates, times, ordering, reactions, platform identification, omissions, and duplicates. A reconstruction may differ materially from the original conversation even when a screenshot is genuine. You must review the reconstructed discussion against the source material before sharing it, relying on it, or taking action based on it.

4. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information, keep access credentials and session links secure, and promptly tell us at dev@fabco.tech if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable care.

5. Your content and license

You retain ownership of screenshots, reconstructed content, comments, profile information, and other material you submit ("User Content"). You grant FABCO a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, extract, format, transmit, display, and share User Content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and support TextShow and to provide the sharing choices you request. This license ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, provider-retention, legal, and security requirements.

You represent that you have the legal authority to upload, process, and share User Content, including third-party conversations. You remain responsible for obtaining any consent required by law or agreement and for respecting confidentiality, privacy, professional secrecy, contractual restrictions, and trade-secret obligations. Access given to a participant may reveal the reconstructed discussion, comments, membership, activity, and participant identity to that person.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use TextShow to harass, threaten, stalk, dox, impersonate, defraud, or facilitate illegal activity; violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, or other rights; distribute malware or harmful code; evade security or access controls; scrape, overload, disrupt, or abuse the service; or upload or share material you are not legally entitled to use. Legitimate everyday, sales, and commercial discussion is permitted, but the context does not excuse unlawful, deceptive, or abusive conduct.

7. Moderation and suspension

FABCO may review reported or apparently abusive use, restrict visibility, remove content, suspend or terminate access, or preserve and disclose information where reasonably necessary to enforce this EULA, protect users or the service, comply with law, or address a security incident. Where appropriate, we will consider context and proportionality.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, add, suspend, or discontinue service features and may update this EULA. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means. TextShow may experience maintenance, errors, outages, data loss, or third-party service interruptions, and no particular feature or level of availability is guaranteed.

9. FABCO intellectual property

TextShow's software, design, branding, documentation, and other service materials, excluding User Content, belong to FABCO or its licensors. Subject to this EULA, FABCO gives you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TextShow is provided "as is" and "as available." FABCO disclaims implied warranties that may lawfully be excluded, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Nothing in this EULA excludes warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FABCO is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, or data arising from the service, User Content, an AI reconstruction, or a user's decision to share or act on material. Nothing limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be limited. You remain responsible for independently checking material before using it in personal, professional, commercial, disciplinary, or legal decisions.

11. Governing law

This EULA is governed by French law. Mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules available to consumers in their country of residence remain unaffected. Disputes should first be raised with FABCO at dev@fabco.tech.

Privacy Policy

1. Controller and scope

FABCO is the controller for personal data processed through TextShow. This policy explains how TextShow handles account holders, invited participants, people appearing in uploaded conversations, and visitors using the service. Privacy requests can be sent to dev@fabco.tech.

2. Data we process

We may process:

• account and profile data, such as username, email address, profile photo, account status, and confirmation information;
• screenshots and other uploaded files, filenames, file and image metadata, storage references, and content extracted or reconstructed from those files;
• discussion content, original-item comments, social connections, invitations, discussion membership, participant access, read state, activity, and targeted notification data;
• transactional email records and delivery status, session tokens and session status, device or request information, timestamps, IP addresses, and technical, security, and application logs; and
• communications and privacy, deletion, or support requests sent to FABCO.

Profile photos are visible to other users and may be publicly visible where a public-facing profile or shared service view displays them. Do not use a profile photo you do not want others to see.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data to create and secure accounts; receive, store, extract, reconcile, display, and share discussions; provide comments, memberships, read state, activity, and notifications; deliver transactional email; troubleshoot and support users; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; enforce terms; and comply with legal obligations.

Depending on the context, the legal basis is performance of our contract with an account holder, FABCO's legitimate interests in providing and protecting the service and supporting requested collaboration, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is specifically requested. When we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against the rights of affected people. You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier processing.

4. Sharing and invited participants

When an account holder invites someone to or shares a discussion, that participant may receive or see the inviter's identity, discussion membership, reconstructed conversation items, comments, relevant activity and read information, notifications, and other information included in the shared discussion. Users should share only with intended recipients and remain responsible for having authority to disclose third-party conversation data.

We disclose data to processors that operate the service for us, to professional advisers where necessary, and to authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the service. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Processors and international processing

Core application and database hosting are provided through Scaleway infrastructure in France or the European Union. Screenshot files are stored in Scaleway Object Storage in Paris.

OpenAI's API processes screenshot content and related prompts for extraction and reconciliation. OpenAI processing may occur in the United States or globally. Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default unless the customer opts in, but OpenAI may retain API data according to its applicable policies and service settings.

Postmark, an ActiveCampaign service, processes email addresses, message content, delivery metadata, and related records to send transactional email, and its processing may involve international transfers. These providers may use approved transfer safeguards where required.

Core hosting in France or the EU does not mean that processing by OpenAI, Postmark/ActiveCampaign, or their subprocessors remains in the EU. Provider locations, subprocessors, and safeguards can change; contact us for current information relevant to a transfer request.

6. Retention and deletion

You can deactivate your account in the app. Deactivation revokes sessions, removes your account identifiers and profile photo from active use, deletes discussions you own and their associated items, comments, memberships, activity, and notifications, and removes your connections and other account-owned service records. Comments you posted in discussions owned by other users may remain as part of those discussions, but are retained without your account identity and are displayed as posted by a deleted user.

Screenshot uploads and profile-photo objects associated with a deactivated account are queued for asynchronous deletion from object storage after the database deactivation completes. This cleanup may take additional time and is retried if the storage provider is temporarily unavailable. You may also contact dev@fabco.tech about deletion or privacy requests.

Other service records are retained while needed to provide and protect TextShow, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. The period varies with the record and its purpose. Deletion from active systems and object storage may not immediately remove copies from backups, logs, queues, processor systems, or other provider systems; those copies may remain until backup cycles expire or provider retention periods end, unless longer preservation is legally required.

7. Your GDPR rights

Subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also give instructions concerning personal data after death where French law permits. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.

Send requests to dev@fabco.tech. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertes (CNIL), or another competent supervisory authority.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data, including encrypted HTTPS/TLS transmission to relevant providers, access controls, and service monitoring. No internet transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Account holders should protect their access credentials and report suspected compromise promptly.

9. Children

TextShow is not intended for children under 16, and people under 16 may not create an account. If you believe a child under 16 has supplied personal data, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect service, provider, or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means. FABCO is the operator and privacy contact; email dev@fabco.tech for questions or requests.
